Dean Cross Trophy

The club will be hosting our annual Dean Cross Trophy starting on tuesday 5th/12th/19th May, each year the Bowls club competes against the Cricket Ladies team a team from the Football club and a team from the Tennis club. The event is always played in good spirits and over a couple of weeks each team gets to play each other for the coveted sheild that is currently held by the Bowls club, it hasn't always been held by our club. The first running of this trophy was won by the Tennis club and they like to remind us of that fact often. All spectators are welcome to come and enjoy the atmosphere and gain an insight into the game of bowls being played at a fun level, although some of the teams do take it more seriously than the others. The start time will be 6pm if everyone arrives by then.
